Inline 12 dB / octave high-pass filters with tweeter protectors are included with this kit. The C2-075ct is designed to operate above 4 kHz with a minimum high-pass slope of 12 dB / octave.

The silk dome tweeter is prized by audiophiles for delivering realistic, non-fatiguing, high-frequency performance.
The C3 component tweeters are built with 1-inch silk dome diaphragms that deliver powerful, extended response, on and off axis. Flush-mounting and surface-mounting fixtures are included to fit a wide variety of installation needs. They can also be installed coaxially onto the C3 woofers using the fixtures included with the C3 Component / Coaxial Systems.
Inline 12 dB / octave high-pass filters with tweeter protectors are included with this kit. The C3-100ct is designed to operate above 4 kHz with a minimum high-pass slope of 12 dB / octave.

C6-Series 1-Inch 75-Watt Single Silk Dome Component Tweeter.
Born from the same DNA as the JL Audio flagship C7 speakers, the C6 series component drivers let you team premium, pure silk dome tweeters with highly linear woofers to create a loudspeaker system of exceptional refinement, precision and dynamic capability.
Pairing full-frame 6.5-inch or 2.75-inch woofers with 1-inch silk dome tweeters, the C6 series drivers offer advanced sound technology for an exceptional car audio listening experience. Passive crossover networks are not included with the C6 drivers, as they are designed for active systems.
An edge-driven pure silk dome tweeter design, when paired with the C6 woofer, produces sparkling detail with excellent off-axis response and damping for balanced coverage in your listening environment. An automatic, solid-state tweeter protection circuit minimizes the possibility of tweeter failure.
A high-quality tuning Digital Signal Processor (DSP) — such as the TwK® DSP or a VXi amplifier with built-in DSP — is recommended. Using individual amplifier channels for each C6 speaker enables the system designer to achieve precise setup of equalization, delay and crossover filters for optimal in-vehicle performance.
